We are a group of 7th and 8th graders who are dedicated to helping others. We go above and beyond what is asked of us to help. We are all a part of Mrs. Bowen's Service Learning class. We take part in different service projects like Clothes To Kids, All-Children's Hospital/Ronald McDonald House, F.E.A.S.T, Blooming Place for Kids, Head Start Clearwater, which benefited many of these organizations.
Service Learning Students Come To This Very Tree To Decorate It To Support 9-11
Students from the second semester of Builder's Club went to a feild trip to go to Head-start, Subway, and Clothes to Kids.
First Stop! Headstart. Students visited the children from Headstart to teach them the importance of reading, bringing ABC booklets with them. The toddlers loved it, learned a lot, and everyone had a blast!
Second Stop was Subway for lunch. The students of Builder's Club reviewed material on how to make healthy food choices.
Last but not least, everyone dropped into Clothes to Kids so they could send them their donations. Clothes to Kids is a company that allows children from low-income families to have nice clothing.
